Job Description:

The Apprentice participates in a structured, hands-on training program designed to build technical skills and knowledge in aircraft and aerospace systems. Under the guidance of experienced staff, the Apprentice will assist with maintenance, assembly, and repair tasks working toward full competency in aerospace operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced team member with daily tasks and projects
  • Use hand tools, precision instruments, and testing equipment safely and correctly.
  • Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and production schedules to determine the sequence of operations and work requirements.
  • Follow all safety rules and company policies.
  • Observe and assist to become familiar with parts and assemblies.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Complete assigned projects and attend required training or classes.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Learn how to use MRO computer, Corridor.
  • Assist with other duties that are assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Language (read, write, speak, and understand English)
  • Normal color vision
  • Comfortable working at significant heights/elevations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay $12.00/hr

Note: There may be an initial DOT drug test and random DOT drug and alcohol test.
