Job Description

The Maintenance Administrator will play a pivotal role within the Maintenance department of Premium Aerospace Center. This position will also have vendor interaction related to the aircraft maintenance events and billing disputes for aircraft. The Maintenance Administrator will assist with streamlining processes to improve overall efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level support to the Director of Maintenance.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Corridor maintenance tracking program.
  • Research daily within Corridor events and invoice confirmations.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control for MX event planning/oversite/approvals
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Corridor software.
  • Work within Corridor to retrieve invoices for payment processing.
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy.
  • Contact vendors for dispute resolution.
  • Process invoices to accounting department for payment.
  • Manage monthly accounting scheduled/unscheduled reports.
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned.

Experience/Other Qualifications

  • Advanced skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a bonus.
  • Excellent writing, grammatical, editing, and proofreading skills required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to develop and maintain a highly organized work environment, and able to effectively prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay $18-$24/hr depending on experience

Job Summary:

The A&P Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time in accordance with applicable "Client Airframe Services", FAA, and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his/her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. The A&P Mechanic is responsible to work in a safe manner, eliminating waste, and delivering a quality product on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include powerplant, and flight control removal/installation.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, and/or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness.
  • Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform work within estimated hours.
  • Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
  • Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
  • Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
  • Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework.
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching, counseling, and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years aircraft maintenance experience on heavy transport category aircraft.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Inspector oversees program quality requirements and processes for maintenance/repair, materials, services, products, training, and safety. Examines and inspects airframe, engines, operating equipment, and all sub-systems to ensure repairs, test, and modifications are made according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, ensures workmanship and materials conform to Civil Air Regulations, company specifications, and manual procedures and certifies airworthiness of aircraft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Inspects all aviation products and paperwork for matching part numbers, serial numbers, etc. and proper certifications to meet FAA Standards.
  • Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities and communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
  • Collects data to evaluate engine performance, using tachometer and pressure gauges and examines assembly, installation, test and adjustment of flight and engine controls.
  • Determines accuracy of installation of components in power plant and hydraulic system with protractor, micrometer, calipers, and gauge to ensure that specified tolerances are met.
  • Signs inspection tag to approve unit, or records reasons for rejecting unit and logs inspections performed on aircraft and inspects and inputs data into the management information system, Technical Order, Computerized Maintenance Program Systems, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and OEM Technical data received.
  • Maintains Technical Data Library to include the update of all OEM Manuals

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' aircraft inspection experience on narrow and wide body aircraft
  • Active A&P License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • must be able to use MRO computer system, Corridor.

Job Objective

The Paint Technician is responsible to effectively refinish aircraft and parts according to required standards.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for all parts and pieces in the paint shop 
  • Complete all phases of prep and painting processes 
  • Prepare surfaces to be painted or sealed 
  • Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts 
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area 
  • Responsible for installation of logos, symbols, or designs on painted  surfaces 
  • Ensure the use of appropriate technical references and tools in performing paint and sealing duties 
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of all currently used painting or sealing equipment 
  • Complete any tasks assigned by your direct supervisor 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be able to identify issues with paint and how to solve, i.e., matching color, tinting, blending 
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment 
  • Must be detail oriented and self-motivated 
  • Ability to consistently produce high quality work, setting high standards, team player, good attitude, and company oriented 
  • Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols, use of personal protection equipment is a must 
  • Knowledge of and adherence to follow federal, state, and local regulations is a must 

*Must be able to pass the OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation, pre-employment

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Minimum of (3) years’ experience in paint and body 
  • Experience in the transportation industry a plus 
  • Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required 

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending 
  • Ability to Lift up to 25 lbs. 

Work Environment

  • Able to work under, around, and above the object for paint 
  • Exposure to heights, working from ladders 
  • Exposure to temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit 

Status & Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week 
  • Overtime necessary depending on workload

  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status
  • Obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)
  • Have GROL (General Radiotelephone Operation License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate (preferred)
  • A&P, or A or P Certification (preferred)
  • Basic PC skills
